Brian Bowersock: Owner, Operator: Brian has been in the Automotive Business since 1988 and opened West Escondido Auto in 1993. Brian is a Certified ASE Master Technician with a California smog license. He also holds a AS degree in Automotive Technology, West Escondido Automotive and Transmission started as a 4 bay facility and grew into the 16 Bay Facility from the drive, passion and care for customer’s and their vehicles, Brian is well know in Southern California for running one of the highest quality Automotive service & Transmission rebuilding facilities. His knowledge of the automotive industry is amazing. Brian also serves as the Auto Expert for San Diego Channel 6 weekend morning news.

Jim Spily: Service Manager, Customer Service: Jim has been in the automotive field for over 20 years and joined our Team in 1998 Jim started as a service advisor and shortly became service manger at West Escondido Automotive and Transmission. Jim’s expertise in customer service and operations of a large facility are next to no other in Southern California. Jim is one of the reasons West Escondido Automotive and Transmission holds such a high rating in customer satisfaction with the AAA automobile club. Jim’s philosophy is "we are here to help".

Garrett Smith: Service Advisor, Customer Service: Garret joined our team in 2008 and has been in the automotive field for over 15 years, Garret has extensive back ground in customer service and assists in keeping our high level of customer service satisfaction rating by AAA automobile club. Garrett has also worked in the automotive field for a large aftermarket warranty company, he has extensive background in handling extended warranty claims which makes him a great asset to customers of West Escondido Automotive and Transmission.

Stephen Ortiz: Parts Manager, Customer service: Steve is one of the best parts procures in Southern California, if there is a part to be had he can find it. Steve handles all parts ordering efficiently in order to get a customers' vehicle back on the road as soon as possible. Steve also handles the phones and assists the service teams in making sure customers are taken care of in an expedient manner, to ensure all of our customers have the highest quality of care given to them.

Kirk Workman: Fleet Manager: Kirk joined our team in 2007 and has over 30 years automotive experience. Kirk handles all of our fleet accounts no matter how large or small an account is, they receive the same high level of customer service from him. The knowledge of the automotive field Kirk brings to West Escondido is a benefit to all Fleet customers and all of us working with him. Kirk takes customer service to another level.

Phillip Bartram: ASE Master Technician: Phillip has been a member of the West Escondido Automotive team since 1999. After serving in the Marine Corp as a jet engine mechanic, he began his career in the automotive industry in 1978. He has resided in Escondido since 1988 and has a wife and two daughters. Phil is an ASE Master Technician and a Ricon Wheelchair Lift Specialist. Phil is also highly trained in ignition interlock equipment that we install on DUI offender vehicles for the state of California.

Kevin Bowersock: ASE Master Technician: Joined the Team at the start in 1993, Kevin is a well know Master Transmission builder and diagnostician with years of drive train experience, that is why he heads up our Transmission Dept. Kevin also holds an ASE Master Technician certification. He is highly knowledgeable in all aspects of the automobile from bumper to bumper. Kevin is considered to be one of the Transmission experts in Southern California.

Steve is a ASE master certified technician and he specializes in diagnosis and drivability. Steve is also a specialist in servicing and repair of European vehicles. His expertise in precise diagnosis and repair is of the highest standard.

Raymond Martinez: ASE Master Technician: Joined the West Escondido Team in 2004 Raymond is a master ASE certified Technician. Raymond has been in the automotive field for 20 years and specializes in suspension and front end. Raymond has become one of the highest technically trained front end and suspension technicians in san Diego county. Raymond is well versed in all aspects of the automobile.

Jon Prince: ASE Master Technician: Jon joined the Team in 2006, Jon has been in the automotive field for over 30 years and his experience is a valuable asset to our company. Jon is not only an ASE master technician, but is a California certified smog technician. Jon handles all of the smog diagnosis and smogging of vehicles in the facility along with diagnosis and drivability concerns.

Todd Warren: ASE Master Technician: Todd has worked in the automotive repair industry since 1985. After graduating from the Phoenix Institute of Technology in 1986, he has gone on to work almost exclusively for General Motors before coming to work for us. He came to work with West Escondido Auto in 2003. Todd is currently an ASE Master Certified Technician who also holds a Brake and Lamp Adjusters license. He takes pride in his work and strives for excellence in his career by offering professional recommendations on service and repair for all vehicles.

Monica Contreras: Customer Service: Monica is the great voice you will be greeted by most of the time when you call our facility. She knows the true meaning of customer service. Monica assists in setting appointments or routing customers to the proper people so they are assisted accurately and swiftly. Monica is the reason our office operates so smoothly.

Fausto Villanuevo: Customer service: Fausto is the Lead shuttle driver along with helping the Technicians when they need a helping hand, Fausto has now received his California smog license and is also the assistant smog tech while working on his ASE certifications. Fausto Helps keep the shop going behind the scenes.

Lio Jennings: Lio Joined our team in 2008 and is our Shuttle driver and Vehicle detailer. Lio always has a smile on his face and enjoys visiting with customers while giving them a lift home. Lio keeps the shop clean and running smoothly for the technicians. Lio enjoys his job and helping customers with their transportation needs. |
